- It’s natural to feel nervous and anxious before the test. Acknowledge your nervousness and channel it into positive energy to stay focused and alert.
- Remember the strategies you’ve practised and trust in your preparation. Your hard work and dedication will pay off, boosting your confidence as you approach the examination centre.
- If you’ve memorised your templates and would like to warm up before the test, take a moment to review them.
- Visualise your success. Envision achieving your goal score, and let that image inspire and motivate you during the test.
- Avoid consuming too much food or water before the test. Since it’s a two-hour exam, opt for a light snack and enough water to stay hydrated and energised. (Too much food can make you sleepy, and too much water can lead to an urgent need for a restroom break.)
- Practice positivity and use breathing exercises to help you stay calm and composed.
- Instead of feeling pressured by the test, remind yourself, “I’ve done my best in preparation, and I’m here to perform my best.”
- Don’t forget to bring your passport for entry into the exam
