What is PTE CORE?
PTE Core is an English-speaking test accepted in Canada for Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
Like PTE-Academic, it is a two-hour test taken at PTE centres. It has four sections: speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening.
However, 2 questions are different from PTE-Academic.
Speaking section: Instead of the Retell Lecture question of PTE Academic, there is a question of Respond to a Situation.
Writing module: Instead of an Essay, there is a question of writing an Email.
PTE Core is needed for immigration or professional certification in Canada.
