PTE Exam-day Checklist to Ensure a High PTE Score

Firstly, PTE exam day is big day for most of us, please make sure you will have plenty of rest before taking an exam. The exam will be for almost three hours. Hence, requires some level of energy, and fresh mind, so that one can concentrate well in an exam. So, relax, and make sure you had good rest before PTE exam, and this will sort out the days problem.

So, we advise you to make sure you to know about all components, tasks, how it works, To avoid the nervousness, and anxiety, taking mock exam is highly recommended that would give peace of mind about the time and context of exam. Be confident about the information’s, requirements, scorings, and tips that need to have successful score.  Final minute understanding and preparation will add confusion, and mostly, it is not going to work.

Now let’s come to the check list.

The Id card is very important., without which you will not be allowed to take the test. Make sure you are carrying the right id with you before going to the exam hall.

If you have plenty of time, do small warmups, say if you have important notes or something you would want to remember, go through it. Saying that does not mean that you will need to involve in in depth practice as it may confuse you. Warm up means slight touch up of the things you know before entering the hall provided if you have enough time to do that.

Try to reach the hall at least 30 minutes before the exam, which will give some amount of time for going through all the formalities such as biometrics, ID cards being verified and signing in digitally. Moreover, you could again calm your mind by sitting in the reception area. Further, if rush up to the exam hall, this will stress you up, and make your more anxious about the exam, and it is good to be avoided.

Don’t discuss any new strategies or take opinion form your friends or with some one outside the exam hall because nothing can be changed, and it will create some sort of dilemma and may decrease your confidence. Ready for test with what you know, that’s all, no new tips or learning before the exam.

If you have any doubts regarding the exam being conducted, you could talk to authorized person to clarify, however, it is good to know about the complete exam setup before entering the hall or previously.

Once you enter the exam hall, and complete your formalities with your invigilator, make sure to check your microphones, and speakers, if you have any concern, immediately inform to them because any feedback after the exam will not be accepted in most cases.

During the exam, if you require any help, simply rise your hand and ask for it, don’t hesitate, because PTE exam is highly time dependent, and you could end up leaving few questions due to the hesitation.

Ok, now the exam started, the first section is speaking, this is very important, not in terms of score, but in terms of motivating you to do the rest of exam with confident. Lots of students get demotivated if do not do the speaking well. So, make sure you just speak without hesitation, do not listen or compare by listening to others. Once speaking is cracked, half of the success is ensured. Also, while doing the test do not worry about the performance in previous tasks. Whatever done is done, and we should do our best.
